Guest Reviews & Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The elegant rooms with rich dark woods and perimeter lighting were comfortable and nicely decorated, but could have benefitted from better service. The staff seemed polite and friendly, especially the attentive and caring individuals like Ryan, Andre 'the giant,' the David's, and Pat. The location was perfect for exploring downtown Denver, being right across from Union Station and quality restaurants, although the surroundings could get noisy on weekends. The dining experience offered cold dishes and room service but had room for improvement. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for enhancement.
The Oxford Hotel is a gem in downtown Denver, perfectly situated near Coors' Field and surrounded by fabulous art galleries, microbreweries, and fantastic restaurants. The antique-filled rooms offer a blend of charm and modern conveniences, maintaining a very clean atmosphere. While the decor may show some wear, the deluxe rooms are a treat when facing the street or inward, ensuring a cozy stay.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience for me. The rooms had large antique furniture and unique silk curtains, but the carpet and bedspread were a bit worn out. The service was top-notch with friendly and helpful staff who genuinely cared about guests. The location was excellent, right in the heart of a bustling historic area with easy access to local attractions. However, the dining experience had some hidden charges that were off-putting. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel is a hidden gem with a fun atmosphere and a great spot for happy hour cocktails. The rooms are nothing like the pictures on the Oxford Website, but they are still roomy, comfortable, and absolutely beautiful. The hotel's location in the historic LoDo area is excellent for exploring the city, with convenient access to shops, restaurants, and attractions.
My stay at the hotel was quite an adventure! The rooms were filled with charming period furniture and had a wonderfully spacious bath, but they were in desperate need of updating and were said to be haunted, which gave a unique feel to my experience. The service was ultra professional, especially Leo who had fantastic suggestions for places to eat and things to do in town. The location was fantastic, with exceptional staff and a very comfortable bed, but I remember it as a dump back in the early 90s. The dining experience was lovely, especially in the stylish Urban Farmer restaurant attached to the hotel, even though breakfast was only for one. The facilities were great, allowing for a cozy and enjoyable stay.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly gracious and helpful, making me feel truly cared for. The location was excellent, especially for train travelers and those looking to explore the area. The dining experience was splendid, with delicious options to enjoy. The facilities were top-notch and added to the overall experience.
